WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Ribbon Cutting Ceremony A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new outdoor track is scheduled for Sept. 18 at 2 p.m.. The track is located on the south side of the Freedom Hall Fitness Center. Sculpting with a Wolf Join guest artist, Barbara Wolf and learn basic clay sculpting techniques at this hands-on workshop at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., Arts and Crafts Center Sept. 28. Come prepared to experience clay and construction to create your one of a kind ceramic sculpture. Gather your creative spirit and get ready for a fun day with clay! Cost is $45 and includes instruction, clay, use to tools, firing and glazing. Humanitarian Service Medal The Joint Staff approved the Humanitarian Service Medal for service members of the Task Force Hurricane Sandy Response who were physically present and provided humanitarian assistance to the people of New York and New Jersey following the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy during the period of Oct. 29, 2012, to Nov. 25, 2012. Freedom Hall painting The parent/child room in the Freedom Hall Fitness Center is now open. The basketball court is closed until painting in that area is complete. Independence Hall registration To register Common Access Cards for entry into the Independence Hall Fitness Center, visit the Freedom Hall Fitness Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. People with a Department of Defense ID number clearly marked on the back of their CAC may register by calling Freedom Hall at 773-6172 to register your CAC over the phone.
