WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Humanitarian Service Medal The Joint Staff approved the Humanitarian Service Medal for service members of the Task Force Hurricane Sandy Response who were physically present and provided humanitarian assistance to the people of New York and New Jersey following the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy during the period of Oct. 29, 2012, to Nov. 25, 2012. Tobacco cessation class Tobacco cessation course sessions will be held for four consecutive Thursdays beginning Oct. 3 in the Health and Wellness Center from 4 to 5 p.m. Another four courses will be held for four consecutive Tuesdays beginning Oct. 8 in Room Q-1 of the 90th Medical Group Medical Treatment Facility from noon to 1 p.m. The sessions teach strategies to quit using tobacco and are available to active duty Airmen, their dependents, retirees and civilian personnel. Mighty Ninety awarded Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Those assigned to the 90th Missile Wing anytime between Jan. 1, 2011, and Dec. 31, 2012, are authorized the wear of the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award ribbon. Fire safety message Storage in attics, heating, air conditioner, communication rooms, electrical, generator, mechanical, and power rooms, exit corridors and in/under stairwells in buildings is prohibited unless approved by the fire prevention office.
