The 90th Missile Wing hosted a burger burn May 27 at the Fall Hall Community Center to help raise funds for the wing's dining out, scheduled for June 13. Members of the 90th MW First Sergeants Council cooked burgers and bratwurst for Airmen.

The second half of the fundraising came from a "Pie-in-the-Face" auction, where Airmen were given the opportunity to place votes for who they wanted to see receive a whipped-cream and fruit pie to the face. Ten Airmen were selected, including Lt. Col. Michael Madrid, 90th Medical Group; Master Sgt. Faith McNelley, 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron first sergeant; and Col. Carl Jones, 90th MW vice commander.

Once the ten were selected, an auction was held on who would be given the opportunity to pie them. Jones had a fierce bid for who would get the opportunity, resulting in a second pie being offered to the second bidder.
