WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Additional Force Management Briefings The 90th Force Support Squadron added additional Town Hall briefings to outline the Fiscal Year 2014 Force Management Programs. The briefings are split into Officer and Enlisted briefings, each covering the correlating programs. There will be three briefings for officer and three for enlisted. Times Are: Jan. 15: enlisted at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and officers at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 17: enlisted at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and officers at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. CFC pancake finale The Combined Federal Campaign ends Jan 15. To celebrate, an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast takes place at the Chapel Activities Center Jan. 14 at 7:30 a.m. A donation of $5 is suggested and all proceeds go to the CFC as an undesignated contribution. Asthma, allergy class The 90th Medical Operations Squadron hosts an Asthma and Allergy class Jan. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Airman and Family readiness Center. The class covers the causes of asthma and allergies, environmental factors, disease management and nutritional considerations. Lunch is provided. All attendees must RSVP by Jan. 13. For more information and to RSVP, call 773-5943. SnoFest 2014 SnoFest takes place Jan. 24 thru Jan. 26 at the Keystone Resort, Keystone, Colo. Sno Fest is a military appreciation weekend with themed parties, discounted lift tickets and snow activities. There will be a cardboard derby and snowshoe hiking as well. The price for the trip is $40 and includes lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental and transportation to and from Keystone. Bring money for snacks. The trip will depart Outdoor Rec. at 7 a.m. and return about 7 p.m. This trip is limited to the first 14 Single Airmen. Slots will fill quickly and equipment sizes are limited. Town Hall meeting The Balfour Beatty Communities will host a Town Hall meeting Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fall Hall Community Center. The meeting will focus on the way ahead for 2014, the Carlin Heights relocation program and provide information on renovations. Sports medicine clinic The 90th Medical Group physical therapy team opened a sports medicine walk-in clinic in the Health and Wellness Center. The clinic is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. The clinic provides a quick sport medicine assessment or intervention for individuals with sport or fitness questions and concerns. New EPR, OPR forms New Officer and Enlisted Performance Report and Feedback forms have been released. This means that any EPR or OPR closing on or after Jan. 1 must be copied and pasted to the new form. For more information, call 773-4306. Pool Tournament The Fall Hall Community Center hosts pool tournaments Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A minimum of six players is required for the tournament to begin. For more information or to sign up, call 773-3510. Jui Jitsu instructor certification The Gracie Defense Systems is offering a free instructor certification class Feb. 24 thru Feb. 28. The week long class will be taught by Rener Gracie, a member of the historic Gracie Jui Jitsu Family, and Eve Torres, a World Wrestling Entertainment superstar. Participants must be available all 5 days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is only 100 spots available (a preference of 60 females and 40 males) and active duty will take precedent. Housing offices will no longer manage rental listings or communicate with Airmen and property owners through AHRN. The AHRN website will continue to operate as a commercial entity and registered users will be prompted to review and accept an updated user agreement. The Air Force Housing public website, www.housing.af.mil, is still available and provides a venue for members to obtain specific installation information on family, unaccompanied and privatized housing. The Housing Management Office at F.E. Warren AFB remains committed to providing members with affordable, adequate housing and will continue to provide referral and relocation services. HMO will maintain available rental listings using a government-managed system. Airmen and their families are encouraged to contact or visit the military housing office to receive assistance in locating suitable housing. Twisted Tuesdays The Bowling Center hosts Twisted Tuesdays every Tuesday in January from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Get a strike when there is a colored-head pin and receive a free game of bowling. Gym safety Due to the high traffic in the Freedom Hall Fitness Center and the retraction of the rule requiring patrons to hand-carry their shoes into the gym, people have encountered unsafe floor conditions. The fitness staff sweeps and mops regularly, but it is difficult to keep up with the dust, dirt, snow and salt that is brought in with the weather. The fitness center staff asks gym patrons to keep this in mind when coming into the gym. 90th MDG Resiliency Classes The 90th Medical Group offers resiliency classes throughout the month: Parenting class targeting ages 2 thru 12 - three week class offered Mondays beginning Jan. 13 thru Jan. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. Anger management class - Jan. 14 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and Jan. 27 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Military Strong Bonds relationship class - three week class offered Thursdays beginning Jan. 16 thru Jan 30 from 3 to 5 p.m. For more information or to reserve a spot in a class, call 773-2998.
