WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Back-to-school celebration The Youth Center hosts a back-to-school celebration Aug. 22 in front of the Youth Center. Doggie day at the pool The Warren Aquatics Center hosts a Doggie Day at the Pool Aug. 30 from noon to 4 p.m. Guests are allowed to bring the dogs for a swim before the center drains the pool for the end of the season. Let's Talk About Sexual Assault The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office hosts a series of sessions titled Helping a Friend who was Sexually Assaulted. The sessions will be held Aug. 12, Aug 15 and Aug. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Bldg. 242 on the corner of Randall and Old Glory. If you know someone who has been sexually assaulted, are interested in knowing more about the issue or are interested in becoming a victim advocate, visit one of the sessions. Wyoming residents wishing to vote absentee may register and request an absentee ballot using the Federal Post Card Application found at www.FVAP.gov. The 90th Medical Group has many available appointments during regularly scheduled clinic hours: Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To schedule a physical, call the appointment line at 773-3461. Sports physical appointments will be open to TRICARE Prime (enrolled at the clinic or off base), and TRICARE Standard enrollees. Space is limited. Base tours The 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs Office and Warren ICBM & Heritage Museum hosts monthly tours of the base for the general public. The tours are the last Thursday of each month from May to October. The tours begin at 1 p.m. at the main base gate where a bus/van will meet guests.
