Let's talk about sexual assault
The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office hosts a series of sessions titled "Response Ability" on bystander intervention. The remaining sessions will be held Sept. 23 and 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Building 242. People who know someone who has been sexually assaulted, are interested in knowing more about the issue or are interested in becoming a victim advocate can visit one of the sessions. The Lead 5/6 Professional Development Seminar
The Lead 5/6 is hosting a professional development seminar Sept. 26 in the Clinic. The topic will be Leadership and Mentorship. For more information, call 773-6090.

Sensory-friendly films
The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Previews will not be shown and kids are welcome to move around as needed. The theater will offer their regular concessions, but families are welcome to bring allergy-friendly snacks. Films shown will be either G or PG rated. Admis-sion for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2.00 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1.00 per person. The next sensory-friendly film is "Planes: Fire and Rescue," Sept. 20.

Aquatic Center -- Closed
Due to unexpected maintenance, the Aquatic Center is closed. The 90th Civil Engineer Squadron is working to have these issues resolved as soon as possible.

Burger King Dining Room - Closed
Burger King's dining room is also closed again until further notice. However, their drive-thru remains open.

MiCare mandatory
It is now mandatory for all active-duty members, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program, to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.

It allows patients to securely:
- Request their next appointment
- Request medication renewals
- Receive test and lab results
- Communicate online with the healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms
- Request a copy of their immunization records
- Access a large library of patient education materials

Airman's Attic
The Airmen's Attic allows Airmen to donate items and take items for free. It located next to the indoor running track and is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m.

Financial seminar schedule
The Airman and Family Readiness Center hosts monthly financial seminars in bldg. 207. The October seminar will be a home buying seminar and will be held Oct. 17 from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

Compensation preferences
The Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission is accepting input on the comment section on their public web site at www.mcrmc.gov. Written comments may also be mailed to the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission, P.O. Box 13170, Arlington, Va. 22209.  These tools help ensure they are aware of preferences and concerns.

Base tours
The 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs Office and Warren ICBM & Heritage Museum hosts monthly tours of the base for the general public. The tours are the last Thursday of each month from May to October. The tours begin at 1 p.m. at the main base gate where a bus/van will meet guests. Guests must RSVP with name, birthdate, government-issued ID number and state of issue by the tour deadline to be part of the tour.
