Trail's End closure
The Trail's End Club at F.E. Warren is currently closed due to manning challenges. Friday night lounge operations with light hors d'oeuvres and a full bar will move to the base golf course from 4 to 6:30 p.m. With this change, club members' dues will drop to a flat rate of $2 until further notice. Contemporary service changes
The chapel's Protestant Contemporary service has moved to building 212, the Chapel Activity Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. Service starts at 11 a.m. every Sunday and the Children's Church will also available.

Combined Federal Campaign
The 2014 Combined Federal Campaign charity fundraiser has officially begun. Between now and Nov. 21 Federal employees will be contacted by key workers and provided the opportunity to donate to a listed charity of their choice. During the 2014 campaign there will be several fundraising events put on by the CFC workers through Nov. 21.

Flu Vaccinations
Flu vaccinations are available at the 90th Medical Group from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Vaccination is mandatory for all military members, children from the Youth Center and from the Child Development Center and is recommended for civilians especially for people with diabetes and asthma. Vaccines are provided for patients 6 month and older. For more information, call 773-2170.

Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Registration
Registration for youth basketball and cheerleading has begun. Practice begins in November and parents may register children, ages 5 to 14, to participate. Cost is $50 before Oct. 10 and $55 after. For more information, call 773-2564.

October Resiliency programs
The Mental Health Clinic is hosting several resiliency seminars and trainings from October through the beginning of November.

The programs are:
· Anger Management Four Week Training: Oct. 21, 28 and Nov. 4 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
· Anger Awareness Seminar: Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
· Strong Bonds Relationship Training: Mondays, Oct. 20, 27 and Nov. 3 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
· Substance Abuse Awareness Seminar (SAAS): The seminar will be offered on Oct. 15, and 29
· Sleep Clinic: Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

All Seminars and Trainings can be considered medical appointments for scheduling. For more information, call 773-2998.

Sensory-friendly films
The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Previews will not be shown and kids are welcome to move around as needed. The theater will offer their regular concessions, but families are welcome to bring allergy-friendly snacks. Films shown will be either G or PG rated. Admission for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2.00 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1.00 per person.
MiCare mandatory
It is now mandatory for all active-duty members to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.

It allows patients to securely:
- Request their next appointment
- Request medication renewals
- Receive test and lab results
- Communicate online with the healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms
- Request a copy of their immunization records
- Access a large library of patient education materials

Airman's Attic
The Airmen's Attic allows Airmen to donate items and take items for free. It located next to the indoor running track and is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m.

Compensation preferences
The Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission is accepting input on the comment section on their public web site at www.mcrmc.gov. Written comments may also be mailed to the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission, P.O. Box 13170, Arlington, Va. 22209.  These tools help ensure they are aware of preferences and concerns.

Base tours
The 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs Office and Warren ICBM & Heritage Museum hosts monthly tours of the base for the general public. The tours are the last Thursday of each month from May to October. The tours begin at 1 p.m. at the main base gate where a bus/van will meet guests. Guests must RSVP with name, birthdate, government-issued ID number and state of issue by the tour deadline to be part of the tour.
