F.E. Warren AFB Public Notice
The housing residents and other F.E. Warren AFB personnel are invited to provide comments or concerns regarding the current Franchise Agreement between F.E. Warren AFB and Charter Communications. Charter Communications is the current cable television franchise agreement holder with F.E. Warren AFB, and this agreement is up for renewal in March of 2015. For more information, call 773-2181.

Chapel Fellowship Lunch
The 90th Missile Wing chaplin's are hosting a free lunch Dec. 3 at the Chapel Activity Center. The menu will be ham with pineapple, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, jell-o salad and dessert. For more information, call 773-3434.

December Resiliency programs
The Mental Health Clinic is hosting several resiliency seminars and trainings through December
Stress Management/Building Resiliency Seminar: Dec. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Dec. 29 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Mental Health Clinic.  For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

Love and Logic Parent Training:  Dec. 5, 12 and 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mental Health Clinic.  The training starts on the 5th and parents should plan on attending all three sessions. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

Anger Management Training: Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 30 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mental Health Clinic. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

How to Avoid Dating a Jerk/Jerkette: Dec. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mental Health conference room. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

Substance Abuse Awareness Seminar (SAAS): Dec. 10 and 24 in the Mental Health Clinic training room.  For more information or to sign-up, call 773-2998/3182.

Sleep Seminar:  This two-week seminar is offered every other Fridays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mental Health Clinic for military members, adult dependents or adult family members who are experiencing sleep issues due to deployment, stress or other unknown causes.  For more information or to determine start date and RSVP, call 773-2998.

New Father's Seminar:  This two hour seminar is offered on Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for new fathers with children under the age of 6 months or expectant fathers near birth.  For more information or to RSVP, call 773-4643.

Annual Cookie Drive
The Annual Airmen's Dorm Cookie Drive is being held Dec. 8 in the Chapel Activities Center. Cookie donations should be made between 7 to 9 a.m. 

Contemporary service changes
The chapel's Protestant Contemporary service has moved to building 212, the Chapel Activity Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. Service starts at 11 a.m. every Sunday and the Children's Church will also available.

Flu Vaccinations
Flu vaccinations are available at the 90th Medical Group from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Vaccination is mandatory for all military members, children from the Youth Center and from the Child Development Center and is recommended for civilians especially for people with diabetes and asthma. Vaccines are provided for patients 6 month and older. For more information, call 773-2170.
 
Sensory-friendly films
The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Previews will not be shown and kids are welcome to move around as needed. The theater will offer their regular concessions, but families are welcome to bring allergy-friendly snacks. Films shown will be either G or PG rated. Admission for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1 per person.

MiCare mandatory
It is now mandatory for all active-duty members to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.

It allows patients to securely:
- Request their next appointment
- Request medication renewals
- Receive test and lab results
- Communicate online with the healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms
- Request a copy of their immunization records
- Access a large library of patient education materials

The Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission is accepting input on the comment section on their public web site at www.mcrmc.gov. Written comments may also be mailed to the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission, P.O. Box 13170, Arlington, Va. 22209.  These tools help ensure they are aware of preferences and concerns.
