Warren AFB Public Notice The housing residents and other F.E. Warren Air Force Base personnel are invited to provide comments or concerns regarding the current Franchise Agreement between F.E. Warren and Charter Communications. Charter Communications is the current cable television franchise agreement holder with F.E. Warren, and this agreement is up for renewal in March of 2015. Enlisted Perspective The First Sergeant Council is hosting an enlisted perspective for the CGOs Dec. 18 in the 90th Operations Group pre-departure room. The perspective's topic will be on crisis response/life experience. Sensory-friendly films Big Hero 6 will be played Dec. 20 starting at 1 p.m. in the base theater as this month's sensory-friendly film. The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Admission for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1 per person. December Resiliency programs The Mental Health Clinic is hosting several resiliency seminars and trainings through December. All Seminars and Trainings can be considered medical appointments for scheduling Contemporary service changes The chapel's Protestant Contemporary service has moved to building 212, the Chapel Activity Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. Service starts at 11 a.m. every Sunday and the Children's Church will also available. Flu Vaccinations Flu vaccinations are available at the 90th Medical Group from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Vaccination is mandatory for all military members, children from the Youth Center and from the Child Development Center and is recommended for civilians especially for people with diabetes and asthma. MiCare mandatory It is now mandatory for all active-duty members to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.
