Tax Assistance Center
The location of the Tax Assistance Center is moving to Laramie County Community College this year. The center provides free tax services for F.E. Warren personnel, retirees and their dependents. The tax services begin Jan. 27 and end in April and are available on Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., and Fridays from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. This year the tax center will accept drop-off returns and walk-in service.

Air National Guard recruiter
The Wyoming and Colorado Air National Guard In-Service Recruiter will be at the military personnel flight, Building 1284, Jan. 27 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The recruiter is available to provide information on the Air Force Palace Chase and Palace Front programs and can be reached at 773-1983.

Outdoor Recreation trips
Swim with the Fishes
· Outdoor Rec. hosts a swim with the fishes trip to the Denver Aquarium Feb. 7. The trip costs $35 and includes transportation and the dive. Trip is limited to 14 people.
Estes Park horseback ride
· Outdoor Rec. hosts a trip to Estes Park to go horseback riding through the Rocky Mountain National Park Feb. 21. The trip costs $30 and includes transportation, trail ride and gear.
Ski and snowboard trips
· Outdoor Rec. is hosting a number of ski and snowboarding trips throughout the coming months. Upcoming trips include Snowy Range, Winter Park and Keystone.

Expanded FSS hours
Outdoor Recreation and the Information, Tickets and Travel office now have extended hours. Outdoor Rec. will now be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and the ITT office will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The ITT office is located inside Outdoor Rec.

Comptroller's hours of operation
The 90th Comptroller Squadron Customer Service Hours are changing. The new hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Customer Service is closed for training on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from noon until 3:30 p.m. Mass in-processing is held every Tuesday at 9 a.m. and mass out-processing is Wednesdays at 9 a.m. The 90th CPTS is located at Building 1284.

Resiliency programs
The Mental Health Clinic hosts several resiliency seminars and trainings throughout the spring.

Stress Management/Building Resiliency Seminar: Jan. 28 from 8 to 9:30 a.m.; Feb. 11 and 25 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mental Health Clinic. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

Sleep Seminar: Feb. 6 and 20 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Mental Health Clinic for military members, adult dependents or adult family members who are experiencing sleep issues due to deployment, stress or other unknown causes. For more information or to determine start date and RSVP, call 773-2998.

New Father's Seminar: Feb 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. for new father's with children under the age of 6 months or expectant father's near birth. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-4643.

New Directions Support Group: An empowerment group for women who have experienced trauma in their lives. The group meets weekly on Mondays from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Mental Health Clinic. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

All seminars and trainings can be considered medical appointments for scheduling.

Sensory-friendly films
The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Previews will not be shown and kids are welcome to move around as needed. The theater will offer their regular concessions, but families are welcome to bring allergy-friendly snacks. Films shown will be either G or PG rated. Admission for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1 per person.

MiCare mandatory
It is mandatory for all active-duty members to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.

MiCare allows patients to securely:
- Request their next appointment
- Request medication renewals
- Receive test and lab results
- Communicate online with the healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms
- Request a copy of their immunization records
- Access a large library of patient education materials
