Baseball registration
Youth baseball registration ends Feb. 27. There is a $75 fee per child. The season begins the second week of May. There are three age groups ranging from seven to 12 years of age. For more information, call 773-2546.

Kindergarten Readiness
There will be a lunch-'n'-learn March 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Airman and Family Readiness Center. The deadline to RSVP is March 3. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-5943.

Warm-up with comedy
Air Force Services hosts a free, comedy show, Warm-up with Comedy, March 20, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Fall Hall Community Center. The event is 18 and older and will showcase four comedians. For more information, call 773-2366.

Outdoor Recreation trips
Celestial Seasonings Tea tour/ Boulder Creek Winery
· Outdoor Rec. hosts a 45-minute tour of the Celestial Seasonings tea factory  followed by wine tasting in the Boulder Creek Winery in Boulder, Colorado, March 7. Trip will leave Outdoor Rec. at 9:30 a.m. and return around 7 p.m. Fee is $15 for transportation and tours.
St. Patrick's Day brewery tour
· Outdoor Rec. hosts a 90-minute tour of the New Belgium Brewery with stops at other local breweries March 17. Trip departs  at 2:30 p.m. and return around 8 p.m. Fee is $10 for transportation and tours.
Bataan Memorial Death March
· The Bataan Memorial Death March is a march through the high desert terrain of White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, conducted in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II. There are two marches available: the full march of 26.2 miles or the honorary march of 14.2 miles. The trip will depart at 8 a.m. March 20 and return March 23. Fee is $50 and includes transportation and camping sites.
Ski and snowboard trips
· Outdoor Rec. hosts a number of ski and snowboarding trips throughout the coming months. Upcoming trips include Copper Mountain, Eldora Mountain and Arapahoe Basin.

Expanded FSS hours
Outdoor Rec. and the Information, Tickets and Travel office now have extended hours. Outdoor Rec. will now be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and the ITT office will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The ITT office is located inside Outdoor Rec.

DFAC hours
The dining facility breakfast schedule has returned to 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. For more information, call 773-3838.

New Shoppette hours
The Warren Shopette will have new hours during a 60-day test phase. The shoppette will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to midnight and Sundays from 8 a.m. to midnight.

AFA scholarships

Resiliency programs
The Mental Health Clinic hosts several resiliency seminars and trainings throughout spring.
· Military Strong Bonds Training:  March 2 and 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Mental Health Clinic.
· Love and Logic Parent Training: Feb. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mental Health Clinic.
· New Directions Support Group: An empowerment group for women who have experienced trauma in their lives. The group meets weekly on Mondays from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Mental Health Clinic.

Tax Assistance Center
The Tax Assistance Center is at the Laramie County Community College Center for Conferences and Institutes. The center provides free tax services for F.E. Warren personnel, retirees and their dependents. Tax services will continue until April 10. These services are available Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m., and Fridays from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The tax center accepts drop-off returns and walk-in service.  For more information, call 307-340-0868.
 
Sensory-friendly films
The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Previews will not be shown and kids are welcome to move around as needed. The theater will offer their regular concessions, but families are welcome to bring allergy-friendly snacks. Films shown will be either G or PG rated. Admission for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1 per person.

MiCare mandatory
It is mandatory for all active-duty members to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.

MiCare allows patients to securely:
- Request their next appointment
- Request medication renewals
- Receive test and lab results
- Communicate online with the healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms
- Request a copy of their immunization records
- Access a large library of patient education materials
