Base Operator Changes
The base operator has switched to an automated system with available options to ensure users will be able to access the phone numbers they require. People calling the base operator to connect them to another stateside number will not be supported. For more information, call 773-4545 or to reach the automated system, call 773-1110.

Household Goods appointments
The summer permanent chance of station season is May through September. The F.E. Warren Personal Property Shipping Office recommends people with orders visit as soon as possible to receive the dates they want to have property shipped. For more information, call 773-3248.

Wing Holocaust Remembrance
Warren is hosting a Holocaust Remembrance event April 15 in the Fall Hall Community Center. For more information, call 773-6060.

T-Ball Registration
Registration is available until April 17 for ages 5 to 6. There is a fee of $50 per child signed up by April 10 and $55 per child by April 17.

Aquatics Center closed for maintenance
The base Aquatics Center will be closed April 6 through April 30 for annual maintenance.

AFA scholarships
The Air Force Association offers scholarships for military spouses. The deadline to apply is April 30. For more information, or to apply, visit http://www.afa.org/donleyspousescholarship.

Outdoor Recreation trips
· Vedauwoo Single Airmen Climbing Adventure: April 4 from 8 a.m. for 5 p.m. $25 per person.
· Steamboat Ski Weenend: Departing at 5 p.m. April 10 and return 5 p.m. April 12. $125 per person, $50 per child.
· Family Horseback Ride: April 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. $35 per person.
· Curt Gowdy Fat Tire/ Mountain Bike Demo Day: April 19, 8 a.m., at Curt Gowdy. A chance for people to view the newest bikes in the industry for free.
· Swim with the Fishes: April 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. $35 per person.

Resiliency programs
The Mental Health Clinic hosts several resiliency seminars and trainings throughout the month.
· Stress Management and Building Resiliency Seminar: April 22 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
· Anger Management Training: April 9, 23 and 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
· Love and Logic Parent Training: April 13, 20, and 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.
· How to Avoid Dating a Jerk/Jerkette: April 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
· Substance Abuse Awareness Seminar: April 15 and 29 from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
· Sleep Seminar: April 17 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Tax Assistance Center
The Tax Assistance Center is at the Laramie County Community College Center for Conferences and Institutes. The center provides free tax services for F.E. Warren personnel, retirees and their dependents. Tax services will continue until April 10. These services are available Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m., and Fridays from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. The tax center accepts drop-off returns and walk-in service. For more information, call 307-340-0868.

Sensory-friendly films
The Exceptional Family Member Program and the base theater offer sensory-friendly films throughout the school year on the third Saturday of each month as a matinee at 1 p.m. These matinees will be shown in a "sensory-friendly" manner, with the lights turned slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Previews will not be shown and kids are welcome to move around as needed. The theater will offer their regular concessions, but families are welcome to bring allergy-friendly snacks. Films shown will be either G or PG rated. Admission for newer films will be $2.50 for adults and $2 for kids. Older films that may be shown will have an admission fee of $1 per person.

MiCare mandatory
It is mandatory for all active-duty members to enroll in MiCare Secure Messaging, including those on the Personnel Reliability Program. MiCare is an online service offering electronic communication between patients and their healthcare team.

MiCare allows patients to securely:
- Request their next appointment
- Request medication renewals
- Receive test and lab results
- Communicate online with the healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms
- Request a copy of their immunization records
- Access a large library of patient education materials
