WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- The 90th Security Forces Squadron will be opening the newly constructed Gate 3 on Jan. 12, 2026 for commercial vehicles only. The details for the gate opening are as follows: Gate 3 will be open from 0600 – 1800 Monday – Saturday starting on 12 January. Gate 3 will be the only access point for commercial deliveries during the times listed above. Gate 5 will remain open as the 24/7 gate and will accommodate commercial deliveries outside of the times listed above. Gate 5 will remain open for regular POV traffic 24/7, all commercial vehicles are to exit through Gate 5 at all times (Gate 3 is one way in, no outbound) The gate schedules for Gates 1 & 2 remain unchanged. ACCESS to Gate 3: I-25 SB Traffic: Take Exit 10D onto Missile Drive, turn left at the stop light onto Happy Jack Rd. Proceed on Happy Jack Rd for 1.4 miles, turn right onto Military Rd and bare right immediately to proceed into the base/Gate 3 access point. Follow signs once inside the base. I-25 NB Traffic: Take Exit 10D onto Missile Drive, turn left at the stop light onto Happy Jack Rd. Proceed on Happy Jack Rd for 1.7 miles, turn right onto Military Rd and bare right immediately to proceed into the base/Gate 3 access point. Follow signs once inside the base. I-80 WB Traffic: Take Exit 359C for I-25 NB and follow directions above. I-80 EB Traffic: Take Exit 357 for Round Top Rd., turn left at the stop sign onto Round Top Rd. Proceed North for 1.1 miles, at stop sign turn right onto Happy Jack Rd. Proceed East on Happy Jack Rd for 0.9 miles and turn left onto Military Rd and bare right immediately to proceed into the base/Gate 3 access point. Follow signs once inside the base.
