90 CES Fire Department Spreads Holiday Cheer Published Dec. 29, 2025 By Staff Sgt. Michael A. Richmond 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- The 90th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department spread holiday cheer throughout F.E. Warren AFB housing communities during its annual holiday parade on Dec. 23, 2025. A 90th Missile Wing tradition, the parade winds through each on-base housing area as firefighter Airmen and civilians from the 90 CES drive a variety of emergency vehicles, from pickup trucks to full-size fire engines, bringing the holiday spirit directly to families’ doorsteps. "Taking part in the parade means more than just driving the fire trucks, it’s about connecting with the community we serve every day," said Luke Koskelowski, 90 CES FD public outreach and inspections lead. "As firefighters, we’re usually seen during emergencies, but the parade gives us a chance to share joy and goodwill instead. Seeing the smiles on families’ faces reminds us why we do what we do. It builds a sense of unity between the fire department and our neighbors on base, showing that we’re not just here to respond to calls, but to be part of the holiday spirit and the larger F.E. Warren family." The experience resonated just as strongly with those watching from sidewalks and driveways across the installation. “It made me want to cry, in the best possible way,” said Anna P. Baggio, F.E. Warren AFB resident. “It was my first time experiencing something like this, both for me personally and now as a mother, and I was very emotional. Seeing Santa and all the people who contributed to the parade confirmed for me that this time of year truly is magical.” While the holiday parade occurs only once each year, it reflects the close-knit community shared among Airmen, civilians, and families at F.E. Warren AFB. For the Mighty Ninety, the holiday season served as another reminder that beyond the mission, the installation’s strength lies in the people who support one another, both on and off duty. “I want to thank everyone who participated and brought that special spark to all the families,” Baggio added. “There are many people who may not have their family or friends nearby, and this parade managed to give them a moment of joy. At least for me, it made me feel happier and less alone.”
