90th Mission Support Group welcomes new CC Published July 19, 2024 By Senior Airman Landon Gunsauls 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Col. Kevin Brown assumed command of the 90th Mission Support Group during a change of command ceremony at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, July 18, 2024. Prior to his current position, Brown served as Air Force Special Operations Command, chief of installation division. Brown addressed the 90 MSG and charged them with a task. “Team MSG, my charge to you is to have our core values at the forefront every day as we execute our mission,” said Brown, “My promise to you and all the Airmen here and across the Air Force is this: I will work hard every day for you all.” Col. John Dines, outgoing 90 MSG commander expressed his gratitude to the men and women of the group. “Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this team,” said Dines, “I love you all, I love the wing, I love the group, and let’s do this.” Dines is moving on to fill a job at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, Belgium. Col. Johnny Galbert, 90th Missile Wing commander and presiding officer, praised Dines time as the commander while expressing his confidence in Brown. “Your knowledge and the breadth and depth of experience with installations and military construction is exactly what we need to build upon the excellence that Col. Dines established,” said Galbert. “You're the right person at the right time. We look forward to all the great things you're going to do and as the MSG commander, as you propel the group to even newer heights of success.” A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
