Edward Tison assumed command of the 90th Communication Squadron during a change of command June 14, 2024, at Trail’s End on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Prior to his current position, Tison was a Senior Watch Officer for the National Military Command Center. Lt. Col. Jeffrey Mickelsen, outgoing commander of 90 CS, will be continuing his Air Force career at Fort Belvoir. A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
