Operation Warren Cares ready to serve families of deployed Published May 9, 2007 By 1st Lt. Jeremy Sheppard 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo. -- Operation Warren Cares, a program designed to take care of the families of deployed members, is operational and ready to provide support. The program provides services ranging from pet sitting to lawn mowing to computer repair to moving large furniture. Currently there are more than 50 volunteers in the database who are ready to assist in any way they can. A family who is requesting assistance should call 773-4144 as listed on the Operation Warren Cares flyer and say what service they require. The request is aligned with volunteers in the database to see who meets the request criteria, and the volunteer is called. The requesting family's information is then given to the volunteer, and the volunteer should contact the family the next day. If necessary, multiple volunteers can be assigned to accomplish the requested task. Operation Warren Cares is a 90th Space Wing program managed under the Warren Company Grade Officers Council's umbrella. For more information call 1st Lt. Jeremy Sheppard, 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron, at 773-4144 or 2nd Lt. Chris Grady, 90th MSFS, at 516-521-6239.
