One hundred and fifty Warren Airman participated in Field Warrior 07-02 Phase I/II deployment exercise, July 12 and 13 at Warren's field training area.

The exercise tested Airmen's readiness skills, their knowledge of the Airman's Manual, ensured they are prepared for various attacks and allowed the Airman to better prepare for Warren's upcoming nuclear surety and operational readiness inspections in September.

"It went good," said Tech. Sgt. James Stanley III, 90th Space Wing Plans and Programs. "We're definitely on the right path."

Participants were confronted with a range of simulated attacks such as chemical, missile, air, and mortar attacks.

"There were a lot of improvements since the last exercise," Sergeant Stanley said. "Everyone did well with understanding the threat levels and [mission oriented protective posture] levels."

Sergeant Stanley said the command and control center did a good job with its initial responses as well as the Airmen who performed self-aid buddy care on simulated injured troops.
