May Fitness Month began with a spin-a-thon relay in the Base Exchange May 2. Maintenance, mission support, medical, security forces, and 90th Space Wing staff all had representatives that pedaled throughout the day (Photos by Staff Sgt. Chad Thompson).
Master Sgt. Del Areford, 90th Force Support Squadron first sergeant, completes the first leg of the spin-a-thon competition for May Fitness Month. Sergeant Areford represented the 90th Mission Support Group during the event. During the spin-a-thon portion of the competition participants had to increase and decrease the pace and resistance they were riding. The change in speed and resistance was to simulate hills during the event.
Airman 1st Class Jesse Castaneda, 90th Force Support Squadron representative, runs toward the halfway point of the MOPP 2 relay Tuesday before the wing run.
