Attention sport reps Published June 16, 2008 By Tech. Sgt. Kristen Salinas 90th Force Support Squadron F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo. -- As intramural sports season begins, the role of squadron sports representatives becomes critical toward the planning and execution of each sport. Every squadron should have an appointed primary and alternate sports rep by their respective commander. It is the sports rep's responsibility to ensure that all sports program information is passed to their squadrons. Intramural soccer season begins June 30, with last Monday being the suspense for letters of intent. Only five squadrons have submitted letters of intent and have attended the mandatory coach's meeting. Now the suspense for letters of intent is being pushed to June 23, which will effect changes in scheduling. Being a sports rep takes being involved and active in every sports program provided. As a sports rep, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on your squadron's morale. The Warren Sports Staff can provide the means and information to do so. Help keep the esprit de corps of friendly competition thriving at Warren.
