Warren’s gym searches for male or female Athlete of the Year

F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo. --  The Air Force annually recognizes the Air Force male and female athlete of the year. 

In conjunction with this recognition, the base fitness center will recognize the Warren male and female athlete of the year. 

Qualified people may submit the appropriate application to the sports director by July 15. 

If the submissions meet the criteria for higher recognition, their application will be forwarded to Air Force Space Command for Air Force athlete of the year recognition. 

Any who qualify may submit an application. 

This is an annual recognition; only criteria from the current sports year, August 2007 to July 2008, will be considered. 

All Air Force level, intramural, varsity, and local and collegiate activities should be listed on the application. 

A panel of judges will evaluate all applications, and the awards will be presented at the Freedom Hall Fitness Center on or around Aug 1.
