New FSS uniforms here Published Aug. 1, 2008 By 90th Force Support Squadron 90th Mission Support Group F.E. WARREN, Wyo. -- The fitness center staff began wearing new Air Force informal uniforms. "We've had nothing but positive reviews," said Senior Airman Angelo Lowrie, 90th Force Support Squadron. "The fitness staff would like to express appreciation and thanks for all the positive responses," he said. The uniforms are authorized to be worn by recruiters, honor guard members, enlisted aides, chaplains, chaplain assistants, select Air Force athletes, and fitness center and health and wellness center staffs. Many variations of the informal uniform have been authorized by the Air Force Uniform Board, which allows the Air Force blue polo shirt to be combined with khaki shorts, khaki pants, or Air Force PT pants. The new uniforms allow for greater visibility and recognition of the fitness staff. For more information see a fitness staff member or call Freedom Hall Fitness Center at 773-6172.
