In a land of procedures and checklists, the imaginative mind still flourishes.

An example of this creativeness is displayed in Capt. Dave Suszko of the 319th Missile Squadron.

His imagination is currently on display in front of the 319th MS: A heritage missile squadron patch is painted to guide the way to the entrance.

Previous artistic feats include a sketch of then Col. Mike Carey, former 90th Missile Wing commander, as well as designs for patches and t-shirts.

But what really catches the eye of most 319th members in is his current venture, a mural, still undergoing creation inside the squadron.

This mural represents the adventurous nature of its creator in addition to presenting a picture of the 319th's history.

All of these images surround the basic missile operator badge, a representation of the missile squadron's primary mission.

"I had always wanted to [paint a mural], and since I was creating something I decided to create something not only artistically pleasing but also something to represent the 319th MS past, present and future," Lieutenant Suszko said.
