The 90th Contracting Squadron welcomes a new director of business operations.
Welcomed on board in April, Bryan Scott's past Air Force experience promises to further enhance the current leadership of the squadron led by Maj. Richard Marsh.

As the director of business operations, he assists Major Marsh with leading the squadron.

He is also responsible for managing the small business program, which provides small businesses with opportunities to "get their foot in the door" in support of Air Force acquisition requirements.

Mr. Scott enlisted in the Air Force in June of 1977 as a weapons mechanic. After this four-year stint, he then decided to pursue a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business.
He then returned to the service as a commissioned officer in contracting as he said he missed the camaraderie the Air Force provides.

His career has taken him many places to include deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
After 26 years and eight months of service to the Air Force, he finally decided to call it a career, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.

He said he is excited to rejoin the Air Force contracting team where his past experiences will prove to be a tremendous asset to the 90th Contracting Squadron.

"Having this background gives me a broad perspective, which allows me the opportunity to better relate to the challenges our officers, airmen, and civilians face in trying to support the mission," Mr. Scott said.

"Bryan brings with him a wealth of experience at the MAJCOM and base level, which I can't wait to take advantage of," Major Marsh said.

"We are excited to have him on our team and expect that his strategic view of Air Force Contracting and past leadership experience will help to propel our squadron to the next level," he said.
