Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. -- Air Force Global Strike Command's A1 visited the base Sept. 13 to 15 for a 90th Force Support Squadron immersion visit. The purpose of this immersion visit was to familiarize Col. Gregory Parsons with 90th FSS issues and concerns. One of the major focuses was on showing the colonel the recent base renovations, such as the aquatic center, as well as the ones that are in the process of being complete, such Independence Hall and the child development center. Escorted by Capt. Tiffany Castleberry, Manpower and Personnel Flight commander, Colonel Parsons made several stops around the base including lodging, military personnel, civilian personnel, manpower, the bowling center, the aquatic center, the child development center, the library, the dining facility, Fall Hall Community Center and the Trail's End Club. The colonel also met with members of Warren's senior leadership in order to discuss any major concerns within the 90th FSS and across the wing. This included Col. Scott Fox, 90th Missile Wing vice commander, Col. Sean Boyle, 90th Mission Support Group commander, Lt. Col. Shelly Strong, 90th FSS commander, and Maj. Karen Dayle-Horsley, 20th Air Force/A1. "We definitely appreciate Colonel Parsons taking the time to visit F. E. Warren, particularly the 90th FSS," Colonel Strong said. "His support as the AFGSC/A1 is critical to the FSS' ability to continue to provide the highest quality of programs and support to our Airmen and their families." After touring the base and meeting with FSS members in their work centers, Colonel Parsons concluded his visit with an all call in the Trail's End Club. This provided him an opportunity to meet face-to-face with the 90th FSS Airmen and civilians. Topics included AFGSC-wide issues, deployments and education.
