Members of the Mighty Ninety took time out of their Saturday to host, meet with and share stories with retired veterans April 21.

More than 150 retirees came to the 90th Medical Group clinic Saturday morning to meet with those currently serving, learn about different services offered to them through the base and enjoy a free lunch provided by Warren's Rising 6 organization.

Col. Christopher Coffelt, 90th Missile Wing commander, welcomed those in attendance during a light breakfast provided through donations.

"We appreciate the service you've provided to our country and the stories you share with us," Coffelt said. "We all hope to be a part of your numbers one day, but until then please continue to share with us your experiences. They are a great motivation to us as we continue to carry out the mission given to us."

Col. Fran Vasta-Falldorf, 90th Medical Group commander, welcomed everyone to the clinic and expressed her excitement to join the retired ranks after her retirement in July.

"In 81 days, I will be one of you," she said. "I think we get more out of these events then you all do; I'm always learning something new from the stories and experiences you share with me."

During the event, retirees could receive immunizations, renew identification cards and learn about services provided to them through the base by visiting more than 25 booths representing different organizations here and in the community.

"Our nation can never repay the service you've given," said Capt. Sarah Kelly, 90th Medical Support Squadron, while giving a briefing on the base pharmacy. "It's an honor for me to come to work every day and serve the best customers in the world."
