Members of the Leadership Cheyenne Program visited the Mighty Ninety April 27 during their military day to gain understanding of the mission performed by the men and women stationed here.

The 23 members of the program spent the day touring different areas of the base, including a trip to the field.

After convening at the Joint Force Readiness Center, F. E. warren AFB, Wyo., the group was greeted by Lt. Col. Guy Beaudoin, Wyoming Army National Guard, before attending the 90th Missile Wing's first quarter awards breakfast held in the Trail's End Club where they were able to meet some of the wing's top performing servicemembers.

Afterward the group visited the 20th Air Force headquarters where they were briefed by Maj. Gen. C. Donald Alston, 20th AF commander, on the mission held by the 20th AF before taking a tour of the historic officer bricks, Argone Parade Field and Randall Avenue before travelling to the 90th MW headquarters.

Col. Robert Vercher, 90th Operations Group commander, briefed the Leadership Cheyenne group on the Mighty Ninety mission and economic impact while at the headquarters.

A tour of Training Launch Facility Uniform-01 preceded a trip to Warren's Missile Alert Facility Alpha-01; while en route, the group had the opportunity to sample Meals-Ready-to-Eat for lunch.

Upon arrival to the MAF, the tour separated into three groups and rotated through a MAF orientation, security forces orientation and launch control center orientation.

During the tour, the groups were briefed by members of the 319th Missile Squadron for the MAF and LCC orientations.

Second Lt. Tate Grogan, 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron; Senior Airman Francisco Santos, Airmen 1st Class Sean Johnson, Jordan Panknin and Christopher Hahn, members of the 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron; all gave post-briefs to the group for their orientation of the security forces mission.

After departing the Mighty Ninety facilities in the field, the group traveled back to Cheyenne to finish their military day tour at the Wyoming National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility.
