Base government motor vehicle carwash open

F. E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- F. E. Warren's automatic base government motor vehicle carwash is now open for use. It is located at Bldg. 1265 on South Frontier Road.

The automatic carwash in Bay 1 is only designed to accommodate general purpose vehicles such as sedans, full-size vans and pick-up trucks. It cannot accommodate larger vehicles such as buses, tractor trailers, Humvees, etc.

For larger vehicles, the manual carwash in Bay 2 may be used. To use it, simply pull up to the entrance, call the number on the sign, and someone will be there to let you in.

Although the entrance door closes automatically in the automatic carwash, the exit door does not close automatically. When departing, it is the user's responsibility to close the exit door.

Users of the manual carwash must close both doors before departing. Failure to do so can cause pipes to freeze and burst which will result in closure of the carwash.
