Erin Knightner took command of the 90th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 17, 2019 on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. Knightner previously served as the chief nurse executive at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. Lieutenant Col. Angela Lacek, outgoing 90th OMRS commander, will be attending Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander. F.E. Warren was Knightner’s first base and she expressed her excitement to return. “I look forward to serving the passionate members of this squadron,” said Knightner. “This base is close to my heart and I’m excited to be a part of the Mighty Ninety again.”
