Chief Master Sgt. Thomas Good, 20th Air Force command chief, toured the 90th Missile Wing and held an enlisted all call at the base theatre here, Nov. 29, 2017.

Good began the all call with a scenario that allowed an individual the chance to send an email to everyone in the Air Force from the Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force. “What would you say,” he asked.

“On a scale from 1-10 how much do you trust your leadership” and “don’t forget where you came from,” were a few among the many answers given.

Good said he uses this scenario with every group he speaks to

“A Tech. Sgt. I asked said she would write: ‘Quit playing the hunger games’,” said Good. “That is a very powerful statement; we are all in this together and it’s time we act as such.”

Good also spoke about the importance of everyone in the military regardless of their proximity to the front lines.

Chief Master Sgt. Brian Lewis, 90th Security Forces Group chief enlisted manager, added to this point after the all call.

“No matter where you work or who you work for, always understand how important you are to the nuclear enterprise,” said Lewis “Your work directly affects not just the Air Force Global Strike mission, but the mission of our United States Air Force as a whole.”

In addition to the all call, Good visited a launch facility and stayed overnight at a missile alert facility, to get some face to face interaction with Airmen in the field.

The Airmen at the LF and MAF said they enjoyed the chance to talk with a senior leader in a relaxed environment.

Good spoke about the importance of what they do in the missile field, and why their job is absolutely vital to the safety of the United States.

Chief Good thanked the 90th MW Airmen for everything they do, for their sacrifices, and the difference they make each and every day.

“Thank you from everything you do, I love you from the bottom of my heart,” said Good. “I love you for who you are, and for the difference you make every day. Don’t you take that love and destroy it, don’t you dare hurt another Airman. One family, one fight.”
