DOD Cardholder Day
Prohibited Items
Traffic Map
The Airshow Practice Day is open only to DOD card holders who have base access.
The
general public is not authorized on the installation for this event.
To access the event area, utilize Rogers Avenue. From the intersection of Central Avenue and Rogers Avenue, continue north on Rogers Avenue until reaching the event parking/viewing area. A parking attendant will direct you into the parking lot.
Rogers Ave. will close from 9:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. in preparation for the practice show. It will re-open at 12 p.m. for DOD cardholders to access parking and will be closed for through traffic at 1:30 p.m.
The practice is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. At approximately 1:30 p.m., Traffic Control Points (TCP) will be established on Rogers Avenue which will block traffic from entering into the “showbox”. Once these TCPs are implemented, you will not be able to access the event parking/viewing area. It is important that you give yourself enough time to travel to the parking/viewing area prior to the TCPs being implemented. You will not be able to depart the parking/viewing area until termination of the event.
