Colonel Angela D. Manning is dual hatted as the MTF Director and Commander for the 90th Medical Group, 90th Missile Wing, F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. She leads a team of 221 personnel in executing a $10.8 million dollar budget, serving over 21,000 beneficiaries. The 90 MDG ensures the nuclear reliability and deploy ability of 90 MW personnel; delivers cost-effective, accessible, community-based medical services and education; and prepares, mobilizes and deploys medical resources for contingency operations worldwide. The Group also maintains war reserve material projects worth over $2 million dollars, supporting expeditionary operations around the globe.
Prior to her current role, Col. Manning was the 56th Healthcare Operations Squadron Commander for the 56th Medical Group, 56th Fighter Wing, Luke AFB, Arizona. In this position, she was responsible for the execution of a $6.4 million budget and delivery of quality medical care to more than 89,000 beneficiaries, including over 6,200 uniformed personnel for the largest fighter wing in the United States Air Force.
Col. Manning earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998. She entered the Air Force in 2001 after receiving a direct commission as a Registered Nurse. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2021 and practices as a Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Col Manning has deployed multiple times as a clinical nurse, critical care air transport nurse, and flight nurse. She has served in multiple executive leadership positions at the squadron and group levels.
