Colonel Jeffrey S. Regan is the Commander, 90th Operations Group, Francis E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. The group is comprised of three missile squadrons and an operations support squadron responsible for providing on-alert nuclear combat capability to the Commander, United States Strategic Command in support of national objectives. He leads the group in safe, secure, and combat ready operation of 150 Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles operated from 15 missile alert facilities dispersed over a 9,600 square-mile area across Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado.
Colonel Regan enlisted in 1994 and later commissioned as a Distinguished Graduate of Officer Training School in 2002. He has served in various positions, including Deputy Operations Group Commander, Missile Squadron Commander, Director of Operations, Assistant Operations Officer, Chief of Standardization and Evaluation, Flight Commander, IG Inspector, and Joint Operations Planner. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Weapons School as a member of the first ICBM student class and was the first-ever ICBM weapons officer to serve in a missile squadron. He has more than 550 flight hours on the E-4B as a certified National Military Command System Watch Officer and Presidential Nuclear Strike Advisor. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Director of Operations, Communications, and Security Forces, Headquarters Twentieth Air Force. He is married to Major Rachel Lovelady and has three children, Alex, Jay, and Evelyn Rose.
