Colonel PETER M. BONETTI

Colonel Peter M. Bonetti is the Commander of the  90th Missile Wing, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base,Wyo. The wing’s 4,200 military, civilian and contractor personnel defend the United States with combat- ready Airmen and nuclear forces. They provide strategic nuclear deterrence by operating, maintaining, securing and supporting 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles which are constantly ready to launch at the direction of the President of the United States.

Colonel Bonetti entered the Air Force in 1988 and received his commission in 1995 through the Air Force Officer Training School. He has served in a variety of positions within missile and space launch operations, including crew commander, instructor, senior evaluator, flight commander and executive officer. His staff assignments include various positions at Headquarters Air Force, United States Africa Command, and Air Force Space Command. Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Bonetti was the Vice Commander, 341st Missile Wing, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana.
