Chief Master Sergeant Kristian D. Farve is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 90th Missile Wing, F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. He is the primary advisor to the commander in support of over 4,200 military, civilian, and contract personnel who provide strategic nuclear deterrence by operating, maintaining, securing, and supporting 15 missile alert facilities and 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles on constant alert status, ready to launch at the direction of the President of the United States.
Chief Farve was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts and entered the Air Force in March of 1991. His background includes training and qualification initially as a Fuels Specialist, and later as an Airborne Mission Systems Technician. He has completed contingency deployments in support of Operations PROVIDE COMFORT, NORTHERN WATCH, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE while amassing over 2,800 flight hours including more than 600 combat and combat support hours.
Prior to assuming his current position, Chief Farve served as the Operations Group Superintendent, 90th Operations Group, F. E. Warren AFB, Wyo.
