90 GCTS welcomes new commander

Major Dexter Binion took command of the 90th Combat Training Squadron during a change of command ceremony July 8, 2020 at Camp Guernsey, Wyoming.

Prior to his current position, Binion was the Flight Commander for Camp Bullis Operations for the 343d Training Squadron, 37th Training Group and 37th Training Wing at Joint Base San Antonio, Camp Bullis,Texas.

Major Scott Ratté, outgoing 90th Ground Combat Training Squadron commander, will take the role of Nuclear Surety Operations Deputy Chief for USAFE-AFAFRICA.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.

Binion addressed the Airmen of the 90th Ground Combat Training Squadron during the ceremony.

"I look forward to serving with you and leading in executing the mission that is pivotal to our nation’s strategy and the Air Force’s warfighting," said Binion. "As we navigate through these unique times we will continue to provide world-class training to the countless men and women that pass through Camp Guernsey’s gates."
