Base Open House celebrates 150th anniversary

A Civil War-era re-enactor marks the center of the end of a wood post during Fort D.A. Russell Days on F.E. Warren Air Force Base July 21, 2017. During the Civil War era everything had to be built by hand. This year marks the 150th anniversary of F.E. Warren Air Force Base, and the annual base open house brings military and civilian communities together to learn more about the base's rich history.
