Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., missile complex Aug. 23, 2016. HICS Airmen used slow, precise movements to prevent any accidental cuts in the cables. HICS is part of the 90th MMXS which maintains 150 Minuteman III ICBMs and the associated launch facilities spread throughout three states and 9,600 square-miles. A 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron hardened inter-site cable systems team prepares a HICS cable outside a launch facility in the F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., missile complex Aug. 23, 2016. HICS Airmen maintain the network cables between launch facilities and missile alert facilities, which involves responding to any connectivity issues, similar to the 90th Communications Squadron on base.
