Warren AFB, Wyo. -- Between May 1 and 31, eight Airmen received Articles 15 at Warren. Of the eight Article 15 actions, three were alcohol related. The following is a breakdown of the Uniform Code of Military Justice articles violated and the punishments received. Alcohol related incidents An airman first class violated Article 111 by driving drunk. He received a suspended demotion to airman, forfeiture of $1,458 pay over two months, restriction to base for 30 days and 30 days extra duty. An airman first class violated Article 92 by drinking alcohol under the legal drinking age of 21. She received a suspended demotion to airman, forfeiture of $200 pay over two months and 20 days extra duty. An airman first class violated Article 112 by being drunk on duty. He received a suspended demotion to airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. All others A senior airman violated Article 128 by assaulting another member. He received a suspended demotion to airman first class, suspended forfeiture of $200 pay and 45 days extra duty. An airman first class violated Articles 86, 107 and 134 by being AWOL for three days from his place of duty, making a false official statement and failing to maintain sufficient funds. He was demoted to airman basic. A senior airman violated Article 92 by violating a general order. He received a suspended demotion to airman first class, forfeiture of $400 pay over two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. An airman first class violated Articles 91 and 92 by disrespecting a senior NCO and failing to obey a lawful order. She received a demotion to airman basic, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. An airman first class violated Articles 86 and 107 by being AWOL for a day from her place of duty and making a false official statement. She received a suspended demotion to airman, restriction to base for 30 days, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. Editor's note: Suspended punishments are those that a commander has decided not to implement to give the Airman incentive to comply with standards. If the Airman continues to not meet standards, the commander may carry out the previously suspended punishment.
