90th FSS: It's your squadron too

F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Did you workout at the gym this morning? Did you take your children to the child development center or youth center?

I bet you went by the education office not long ago to register for tuition assistance or take a test.

There are not many days people don't interact with members and activities of the 90th Force Support Squadron.

Warren was selected as one of six bases Air Force-wide to conduct a test merger of its services and mission support squadrons into a single force support squadron. We merged for the test period May 30 2007.

Simply put, the 90th FSS is responsible for making Warren the base of choice in Air Force Space Command. We are here for the people, and our squadron meets the personal, professional and recreational needs of our workforce, retirees and dependents.

Among other things, we provide personnel, manpower and education benefits to develop our future Airmen and ensure they receive the entitlements and development necessary for their career progression.

We endeavor to provide all these goods and services to Airmen and veterans at the best value possible.

Our military and civilian employees have teamed to earn the Crow Creek Inn's Air Force accreditation, merged the community center and library to form the new Communibrary and built offices to create the first consolidated military personnel element in Air Force Space Command.

Our staff has partnered with neighboring communities and businesses to bring you outdoor adventure trips for all seasons and comedy shows, pay-per-view sporting events, Warren Idol, SnoFest and vehicle care, as well as golf and bowling.

Moreover, we've done these things while remaining faithful to our Air Force Core Values, earning multiple AFSPC awards for excellence.

Our child development center is in line for a $2.6 million dollar expansion to eliminate its waiting list and serve all Airmen needing safe, reliable, high-quality child care.

Construction and improvements to the Fall Hall Community Center will make it a state-of-the-art facility for recreation. The list goes on and on.

Come to the Trail's End Club at 3 p.m. April 21, to see the 90th FSS as we formally unite under a single guidon to provide support "by the people, for the people."

No matter what squadron or unit you may be assigned, the 90th FSS is also your squadron as well. We will ensure Warren remains your base of choice.
