Col. Cherron Galluzzo assumed command of the 90th Medical Operations Group July 19, during an assumption-of-command ceremony. Col. Stephen Kravitsky, 90th Missile Wing commander, was the presiding officer for the ceremony.

Galluzzo comes to the MDG from the 96th Inpatient Operations Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida, where she was the commander.

As the new medical group commander, Galluzzo is responsible for medical care of more than 4,000 military and civilian members on Warren and from the local community.

“I consider this a gift along the road of an amazing Air Force journey,” Galluzzo said. “I recently witnessed the strong bond between the military and Cheyenne community, and I look forward to continuing this awesome relationship.”

Galluzzo assumed command of the MDG from Ret. Col. Hans Ritschard who recently retired.

“Our ability to deliver safe, quality care enables this medical team to be the secret weapon within the Mighty Ninety,” Galluzzo said. “With trusted care as our vector, we will continue to provide unwavering medical support to our combat ready, ever dominant, ICBM force.”
