F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Maj. Jeffrey Mickelsen assumed command of the 90th Communication Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 13, 2022, at the Trail’s End club on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.
Prior to his current position, Mickelsen was the Chief of Maintenance Operations for the 729th Air Control Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
Lt. Col. Joseph Manning, outgoing commander of the 90 CS, will take on an assignment at Stavanger Air Force Base, Norway.
A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
