Thomas Taylor, 90th Civil Engineer Squadron chief of operations, prepares to throw the ceremonial first soil onto a newly planted tree in recognition of Arbor Day during the 90th CES Environmental Symposium at Pearson Lake May 16. This was Warren’s 18th year of celebrating the day. Students from Freedom Elementary School in Cheyenne attended the symposium that was aimed at educating children on environmental issues.
