The Education and Training Center is located at 1205 Ziemann Blvd, Bldg. 841, and Education Customer Service is open every Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., with other offices open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They provide the highest quality educational opportunities to Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve officers, enlisted, military dependents, retirees, DOD civilians and the on-base community. Services include testing, counseling, tuition funding requests (tuition assistance, TA), financial aid information and degree programs ranging from associates through masters. Voluntary educational testing for college credit may be accomplished through the College Level Examination Program electronic format, or through Defense Activities for Non-Traditional Education Support Standardized Subject Tests. The ACT Assessment Program exam and SAT are also available. Military personnel are administered the exams free of charge; however, there is a fee for re-takes. The Education Center is staffed to meet your needs for education and vocational planning. Counseling services are available to advise on degree programs, goal setting, financial support for education, and a number of other educational opportunities and programs. Let us help you with course selection, obtaining transcripts, and a host of other education related activities. Individualized planning is available for those pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force, which can include progress report reviews, unofficial transcript evaluations, and advisement. Locally available certification and associates degree programs are offered through Laramie County Community College. Classes are conducted on-base, at the Cheyenne branch campus location, or on-line. Bachelor's degree programs are offered on-base and on-line through Park University, in addition to online master's degrees. There is also a wide variety of information available on distance learning programs from accredited colleges and universities. Park University offers bachelor degree programs in Criminal Justice, Social Psychology, Management, and Management with specializations in Human Resources and Computer Information Systems.
