Lauren Miller, a breast cancer survivor and acclaimed author on handling stress, speaks about her experience to an audience at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., Oct. 27, 2016. The 90th Medical Group hosted Miller as a guest speaker as one of the events commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every year in October, military bases host a multitude of events to bring the issue of breast cancer to the forefront of people's minds. Addressing the audience, Miller said, "Do not rob your children of the opportunity to see you be real in the eye of suffering.
