2015 Fort D.A. Russell Days and Thunderbirds Air Show

2015 Fort D.A. Russell Days and Thunderbirds Airshow   Fort D.A. Russell Days is Warren's open house that celebrates the
   150-year history of the base. The event began 21 years ago when the
   U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds performance was moved to an off-base
   location.

   The Living History Presentations allow visitors to experience different 
   periods of history, from the civil war era to the present day. Static displays
   of current mission-essential vehicles are on display. Tours of the
   Warren ICBM and Heritage museum, Minuteman III training facility,
   missile procedure trainers and of historic base homes will also be
   available. 

   The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are an aerial demonstration squadron
   that performs precision aerial maneuvers that demonstrate the capabilities
   of the Air Force's high performance aircrafts to people throughout the
   world. The Thunderbirds have performed a show over Cheyenne,
   Wyo. each year for the past 62 years.

The 21st Annual Fort D.A. Russell Days base open house will run from July 17 through July 19. Access to the events will be through the main gate 1 of F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., located on Randall Ave. All civilian traffic should remain in the far right lane. All events except for food is free of charge. Parking will be located along Schriever Rd. For full schedule of events, click the link below.

tabThunderbirds information 
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will perform an aerial demonstration July 22 at Laramie County Community College. The free show will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run approximately one hour. A free shuttle will run to and from the campus. For more information, click the link below.

tabRules for attendees
- All adults entering the base will require a photo ID

- Non-military ID holders must stay within sectioned-off areas (except when part of a bus tour)

- All vehicles are subject to random checks

- Attendees are not allowed to bring firearms

- Attendees are not allowed to bring alcohol

- Attendees are not allowed to bring marijuana

- Follow the instructions of security forces personnel
