Maj. Ayana Tuchscherer took command of the 90th Logistics Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 24, 2020, on F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

Prior to her current position, Tuchscherer was with the J4 at Allied Joint Force Command in Brunssum, Netherlands.

Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Montoro, outgoing 90 LRS commander, will take command of the 422nd Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.

Tuchscherer honored those who came before while looking ahead to the future of the squadron.

"To the friends and comrades who gave their all and can't be with us today, I will do my best to honor what you gave me in wisdom and camaraderie and in turn, give that to my unit and give them my best,” said Tuchscherer. “Team LRS - let's do it.”
