I’ve been in the Air Force almost two years now and I often find myself feeling overwhelmed and unappreciated at work and in other areas of my life. It can be easy to fall into a spiral of low morale and complaints and sometimes things don’t seem like they’ll get better. If you feel the same way, just know it’s not the end of the world and things may not be as bad as you think.

My first mission trip

Senior Airman Jozalyn Ward, 90th Medical Support Squadron pharmacy technician, poses with other volunteers and an Oglala Lakota family after finishing a wheelchair ramp at the Pine Ridge Reservation, S.D., Sept. 28, 2017. Airmen from the 90th Missile Wing volunteered their time to help build wheelchair ramps, bunk beds and skirting for trailers on the reservation.
