The 90th Missile Wing Chaplain Corps hosts a monthly fellowship luncheon here to bring everyone on base closer together, from the lowest ranking Airman to the highest general.

The monthly luncheon offers a relaxing atmosphere and a place for people to escape and relax while having a home cooked meal.

“It’s a community service, and it just helps people build relationships and comradery,” said Rhonda Coburn, fellowship luncheon volunteer. “In this setting, eating together has brought someone who just came from basic training, sometimes with no stripes on their arm, to sitting with General Cotton.  Where else would this happen? It just relaxes people, and I feel that it’s just a great ministry for the chapel.”

The fellowship luncheons give people a chance to sit down and talk to one another and enjoy some social bonding while eating lunch.

“This event is great, it gets all the different agencies out together because sometimes people may be stuck behind a desk and they may not get to see their teammates throughout the base,” said James Hunt, Equal Opportunity, director. “It’s a chance to get out and enjoy some time with your fellow wingmen, and the food is always good.”

Everyone with base access is invited to attend the luncheons, which are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Chapel Activity Center building, 212.

If interested in food and fun, attend the next fellowship luncheon. For more information, call the Chapel office at (307) 773-3434.
