There are many avenues to commission in the United States Air Force and many of those can be confusing, but for Tech. Sgt. Brittany Loke, seeking commissioning was an easy choice.

On Nov. 22, 2022, Loke was chosen by Gen. Anthony J. Cotton, commander, Air Force Global Strike Command, to commission through the Senior Leader Enlisted Commissioning Program, a program that allows senior enlisted leaders to commission if they’re within 3 years of completing their bachelor’s degree or have completed it.

“This opportunity would allow me to expand my scope of leadership and fully utilize the resources, expertise, mentorship and leadership that I have to offer and with the tools and insight gained as an enlisted airman I will be a vital asset to the service in developing our future Airmen and enhancing our military force and culture,” said Loke. “I desire to serve as a commissioned officer so that I may continue this cycle of growth and contribute the most I can to the United States Air Force.”
